If there’s one thing that can be said about our wonderful industry it’s that the rate of innovation is amazing . Nearly every week it seems like we are being presented with a new quieter more powerful extraction fan or a new nutrient line promising to change the way we garden. As exciting as these new ideas and products are they almost always tend to be just more of the same thing, slightly tweaked ever so slightly improving on a idea that has been around from the beginning of hydroponics.

Believe me when I tell you and know that this is coming from someone who has resisted this change from the beginning, as early L.E.D fixtures seemed to be overpriced and underpowered but that has changed and changed in a big way
With average efficacy ratings between 2.6 and 2.9 these new fixtures are providing around 30% more light per watt when compared to the highest quality H.I.D lights available, pair that with the fact that the light itself is being delivered Raw and unreflected at true Full Spectrum levels all the time producing less heat and pushing what heat is produced up away from the plants compared to being pushed down directly into the plant path.
